✦ I'm currently leading billing and finance design at Nextech Systems, a medical practice management platform, streamlining invoicing and payments to speed cash flow and reducing costly errors that impact revenue for doctors and their practices.
Previously, I led the design “consumer-like shopping” strategy at Varis, a $20M e-procurement platform under Office Depot that helped customers including Lowe’s, Dominos, and Advance Auto Parts run their businesses efficiently and reduce indirect spend. Before that, I designed enterprise security software that kept building occupants safe and grew a design system team at Honeywell that led to a performant and consistent platform experience across industrial spaces.
Before that, I worked in the agency space designing digital experiences for Fortune 500 clients like IHG, Coca-Cola, Citibank, and MDAnderson.
✦ In my off-hours, I'm the co-organizer of Ladies that UX Atlanta, and also a global design mentor at Amazing Design People List, General Assembly, and Design Buddies
As an authentic speaker, I have given talks on my UX journey as well as my strong advocacy for inclusive design and diversity at conferences and communities including BuzzFeed, Students of UXD, and IXDA where I spoke to over 6,000 global attendees.
My Asian-American roots have had a big influence on my career. I’ve shared my personal journey on how being an immigrant kid has taught me valuable skills that make me an effective design professional today.
